Plant Technician - the role

• Scheduled and breakdown maintenance on water recycling plant equipment via CMMS

• Process sampling and on-site laboratory testing

• Chemical systems operation, transfers, and stock management

• Instrument calibration and routine plant inspections

• Managing contractor isolations and issuing Work Clearances

Plant Technician - hours and pay

• Permanent, full-time hours

• Competitive pay rate plus on-call allowances and overtime opportunities

• Standard day shifts with participation in an after-hours on-call roster

What you need

You will be a Plant Technician who takes pride in your work and is safety focused. You are a hands-on problem solver with good communication skills.

• Trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation) OR Certificate III in Wastewater Treatment / automated plant experience

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence

• Confined Space, First Aid, or Forklift tickets (highly regarded, with training provided)

• Basic computer literacy to complete logs and maintenance work orders
